Well...summer is winding down for me...I leave for my internship at the National Archives in 10 days! I'm pretty excited but at the same time I will have to work 40 hours a week, 8am to 5pm for three weeks! I haven't gotten up that early in years! I've been blessed so far in my college days at Rockhurst to be entering my senior year and have never had to take an 8am class!
But...the down side to leaving is that i won't have any sort of income for 4 weeks!
As each day goes by I also get more and more excited to move back on campus for the year! There are so many things I am excited to do and all kinds of people I have not seen all summer long! But somehow, summer seems to keep getting shorter and shorter the older you get!!
Well...as a very wise person somewhere, once said "Life is like a roll of toilet paper, the closer you get to the end, the faster it goes!" Sadly, the same is true for your college years too!
One year left and then I have to be a REAL adult!
